Berlin

Berlin, oh Berlin! The city where history whispers from every corner and creativity knows no bounds. While I haven’t had the pleasure of exploring Berlin yet, I’ve heard countless tales of its charm and energy from my mother in law. From iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate to hidden gems tucked away in Kreuzberg’s labyrinthine streets, Berlin promises an adventure like no other. I can’t wait to experience this romantic getaway and immerse myself in its rich history and culture.

Where to stay?

Perfect when there is no free parking.

Heidelberg, with its fairytale castle and romantic old town, felt like stepping into a storybook romance. While I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Heidelberg yet, I’ve been enchanted by tales of its cobblestone streets, blooming gardens, and breathtaking views of the Neckar River. From leisurely walks along the Philosopher’s Walk to exploring its ancient university, Heidelberg promises a romantic escape filled with timeless charm and unforgettable experiences.

From the moment I set eyes on this picturesque town, with its colorful half-timbered houses and towering castle, I knew I was in for a romantic adventure. Exploring Cochem was a delight for the senses, from walks along the riverbanks to wine tastings in cozy taverns. And the views were amazing! Whether I was admiring the town from the Reichsburg Castle or cruising along the Moselle River, Cochem stole my heart and left me longing for more romantic moments in this enchanting corner of Germany.
