From the colorful streets of Paris to the charming squares of Bordeaux, here are some of the romantic destination France has to offer.
Paris
Paris, one of my favorite places to visit in France and also known as the ‘City of Love’. That’s why it’s on the top of the list of most romantic gateways in France. Paris is well known for its rich culture and iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. No wonder the city is a popular romantic destination in northern france.
This romantic escape is the perfect spot to take a drink on a cosy summer night, while chilling in the grass seeing the lights flicker. Something I’ve done with my boyfriend and I’ll keep this as a memory, something I would highly recommend you to do.

- Grand Hotel du Palais Royal This hotel is ideal for visiting Paris. Not only is it affordable, but it’s also comfortable and centrally located. Enjoy a luxurious environment with a wide range of amenities specially designed for couples like you. Probably one of the most romantic hotels in Paris.

Seine River Cruise: For a romantic outing, consider embarking on a boat along the Seine. View the Notre Dame, lose yourself in the breathtaking views as you cozy up with your partner. Evening cruises offer a magical experience with the shimmering lights and gentle breeze, gliding past iconic landmarks.
Stroll Through Charming Gardens: In the heart of the city and near Le Louvre, Paris has some amazing gardens. Especially during the spring and summer seasons, the flowers are in full bloom, creating a picturesque setting. My experience was enhanced by indulging in delicious organic ice cream from a quaint stand in the park. And indeed, the ice cream was simply divine.
Eiffel Tower Evening Visit: Experience the Eiffel Tower at night. Spread out a blanket beneath the tower, soak in the pleasant weather, engage in romance, heartfelt conversations, and perhaps play some travel board games. It’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening, spectacular views, and that all with your loved one, I speak from experience!
Gordes
Gordes is a picturesque village on top of a hill in southeastern of the France country, in an area called Provence. People love this charming town because of its amazing buildings, lovely views, and interesting past.
This is also why I love Gordes and why this is a romantic getaway you should visit when visiting France with your loved one. The smell of fresh lavender and stunning views while enjoying a glass of red wine is something you’ll never forget. You’ll find lavender fields in most places which are located in the Provence, the smell makes it in my opinion really romantic places to be.

Mont Saint-Michel
Mont Saint-Michel is a stunning island village found just off the coast of Normandy, France. You’ll love it for its incredible beauty, medieval buildings, especially the famous abbey sitting high on the rocky island.
It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site that brings in millions of visitors yearly. You’ll be fascinated by the rich history and the way the tides around it change. A really romantic gateway and a one of a kind place to explore when visiting France with your loved one.
