The best resorts in Thailand

Welcome to Thailand, the country with nice weather, lovely people and delicious food. A beautiful destination with amazing luxury resorts and hotels. From private gardens to infinity pools, in this blog I will tell you more about the luxury resorts in Thailand.

Phuket, Marriott Resort & Spa

Escape the hustle and bustle of Phuket and come to complete relaxation at the Marriot Resort & SpaThis might be your best option when looking for luxury resorts in Phuket. Nestled amidst the natural beauty and within walking distance to the Patong beach, this tropical escape offers everything you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Such as a wellness center with its own signature treatments and steam room, or enjoy there outdoor terrace. Besides relaxing, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy new experiences.

Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool or explore the sea at the resort’s very own house reef which is located on a private beach. This is one of the few luxury resorts in Thailand which offer these kind of amazing views. And in my opinion makes it in the top of best resorts in Thailand.

All inclusive resort options

Dive into the ultimate resort experience with the all-inclusive package! They not only offer tasty meals but you can also enjoy complimentary access to all activities and non-motorized water sports facilities but you can ofcourse always take a dip in their amazing swimming pool.

During the high season, prices for a premium room, including two guests, range from $549 to $655 per night.

If all-inclusive isn’t your thing, fear not! They’ve got an array of premium rooms starting from just $300. Explore the variety and choose the perfect accommodation for your stay. Whether you’re a fan of the all-inclusive perks or prefer a customizable experience, this is one of the luxury resorts that has it all.

Imagine yourself walking through their lush gardens after you’ve worked out in there fitness center, while your kids are enjoying themselves in the kids club.

Surrounded by Nature, including a butterfly sanctuary

You can witness their tropical gardens called ‘the Merlin Butterfly Sanctuary’, this is there second conservation project dedicated to reviving the native butterfly population in all its glory! This initiative is more than just a project; it’s a passionate mission to restore the vibrancy and beauty of our local butterfly species.

Visitors to the sanctuary are not merely observers but participants in their shared mission. Through immersive experiences and educational initiatives, they invite you to be part of the journey towards a flourishing butterfly habitat.

Walk through enchanting trails, learn about the life cycle of these delicate creatures, and witness firsthand the positive impact of conservation efforts on their populations.

Krabi, Phu Pha Aonang Resort & Spa

In the beautiful nature of Thailand and close to the beach of Krabi, you’ll find the Phu Pha Resort. Immerse yourself in a delightful stay with charming cabins designed in traditional Thai style.

Take a dip in the pool surrounded by palm trees and flowers. The staff is incredibly friendly and happy to help you with any questions, during my stay they helped me with finding the best Thai cooking classes and helped me book a scuba diving class.

Exotic environment

At their peaceful location, far away from the bustling center of Krabi. The Phu Pha Aonang Resort & Spa offers a calm escape tucked next to a tropical hillside covered in lush greenery.

The resort is carefully designed so that each cabin is cozily wrapped in nature, embraced by plenty of trees and plants. This makes your arrival feel like if you’re actually entering paradise. The cabins are equipped with private balconies, when stepping outside the panoramic view reveals the breathtaking surroundings and outside swimming pool.

With the sun shining in Krabi, they’ve got just the thing for you – nestled among the cabins is an inviting outdoor swimming pool, ready to cool you down and offer a refreshing break from the heat. Dive in there outdoor pool and beat the warmth right at the heart of their retreat, or use one of there outdoor showers for a quick cool down.

Resorts Location

As mentioned earlier, the resort is situated a bit away from the bustling center of Krabi. Yet, don’t worry about missing out on the local charm! Within walking distance, you’ll discover a collection of charming shops and many nearby attractions. You will also find many amazing restaurants offering a delightful taste of Krabi’s unique character.

For those seeking a busier scene, a short taxi ride will transport you to the vibrant night market, where the energy of Krabi truly comes alive. Immerse yourself in the local culture, savoring delicious street food, and exploring the array of stalls showcasing the region’s craftsmanship. You should really try out the Pad Kra Pao this was my number one favorite dish when visiting the night market.

So, at Phu Pha, you get the best of both worlds – a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation within the resort’s confines, and when you’re ready for some adventure, the bustling heart of Krabi is just a stone’s throw away.

And above all, the prices are really affordable. You can book yourself a cabin starting from ONLY $70 a night or pay a bit extra and enjoy there delicious breakfast! This ofcourse doesn’t include a fancy private pool but will get you a very comfortable stay in Krabi.

When visiting Krabi I would recommend you visit Krabi marine national park, also known as the Phi Phi islands, this is probably one of the most amazing places I’ve visited when staying in Krabi.
