Da Nang, a wonderful place for digital nomads if you might ask me. Not only has it some of the most amazing beaches, the city also offers lot’s of different activities close by. Learn more about the Vietnamese history, try traditional local food and meet some lovely locals. Luckily for digital nomads there are more than enough cafes or co-working spaces to work from. In this blog we will be focussing on our 8 favorite places to work from in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Lighthouse
This unique building is located near the beach of My An. What I like most about Lighthouse is the huge amount of light coming in from the big windows. The building has multiple levels with more than enough space to find a nice spot to work from. Lighthouse is definitely one of our favorite places to work from. We actually have been working here almost everyday, really loving it so far! Recommendations regarding the menu would be: Matcha latte, Coconut coffee and the French toast.
Cafeholic Coffee
With a name like this do we even need to say more? Cafeholic located in the city center of Da Nang gives you the perfect place to do some work while enjoying nice drinks and delicious treats. This place is well known for its amazing cakes and other sweets. The overal vibe from the cafe is great, what makes it a good spot to work from.
Meet Banh Mi & Coffee
One of my favorite places to work from, also due to its convenient location to our current home. Meet offers a broad menu with delicious drinks. Definitely try the lemongrass iced tea. Although the cafe is not really big, it still has some great spots to work from. My favorite thing about this specific location is the friendly staff that is working everyday from 7 AM till 10 PM. You can always expect a big smile when entering.
Login Coffee
When working at Login Coffee you don’t need to be afraid to find a spot to work from. The cafe offers more than enough and different spots to work from. Personally I have been really liking the location from this place as it’s a bit more located in the tourist area. A must try on the menu are definitely the iced teas, but keep in mind that you can only pay with cash at this specific location. Login Coffee architecture is different from any other typical coffee spot, meaning it will be a nice switch from your daily work spot.
Lu Coffee
Lu coffee is a multiple story coffee shop located near the beach. At the cafe you will find enough others working, so it’s a great space to connect with likeminded. Besides that the cafe also has enough spots, including those with access to electricity outputs, making it a great place for a few hours of focus work.
The Local Beans
The Local Beans has been one of our last discoveries. Located just a few minutes away from the famous Dragonbrigde. The Local Beans has a designated area to work from. Throughout the day you will then also see many locals and expects working from the second floor. Personally I think it creates a really nice and focussed vibe to work surrounded by others. Besides that the drinks are to die for. A must try is definitely the Chocomisu.
The Cups Coffee Roastery
The Cups Coffee Roastery is once again located near the famous My Khe Beach. The cafe offers more than enough places to sit and work from. Important thing to say it though that is can be quite busy. Due to it’s location it is also popular under tourist that just want to grab a nice drink, so it can be quite loud inside. Besides that I still like to work from this place with for example my headphones. What makes this place even better is that inside there is a bakery located. A bakery with delicious food so both are a great combination.
Danasol – Eatery • Cafe • Workspace
Danasol is a popular place for expects as well for tourist. On the ground floor you will find a nice restaurant with some delicious food items on the menu. Everything is prepared fresh, so that’s a plus! When going upstairs you will find a designated workspace. Keep in mind that it can be quite busy, so coming at the right time is key to secure your spot. The wifi is super fast, what makes it convenient for online work. Important to keep in mind is that for using the workspace you will have minimum spend of 150 thousand Vietnamese Dong. So I would suggest to order a nice meal with a refreshing drink and you will have a win win situation.
